The Resident Worker Program provides public housing residents the opportunity to apply to work within Rochester Housing Authority departments, as positions become available. Participants in this program may earn up to $200 per month. Positions are typically working in the maintenance department. Each applicant must complete an interview, criminal background check and pre-employment drug test and interview with the hiring supervisor.

If you are a public housing resident, 18 years or older and interested in the Resident Worker Program, contact the Resident Services Assistant at (585) 697-1150 x 228.
