Our Senior programming consists of activities designed to enrich the quality of life for our senior residents. RHA collaborates with a number of community and government agencies concerned with elderly issues. Our goal is to increase resident participation in RHA sponsored Programs and activities while addressing their specific social needs.

The Objective of the Social Services Department's Family Programs component is to coordinate recreational, educational and social and activities with existing community agencies that provide an array of services that promote healthy family environments and the opportunity for adults and youth to jointly participate in activities or as separate units. These programs give the entire family an outlet to experience safe and wholesome activities that promote wellness and stability for the family as a unit.

The primary component of Youth Programming is our After School Program (ASP). Its goal is to foster an environment conducive to learning, as well as gaining a sense of community spirit and belonging. During the after school hours, children are introduced to a variety of education and fun activities:

Workshops
Movies
Bowling
At our 3 recreation center locations the program begins with a Homework/Tutorial Session and ends with recreation time; games, group activities, videos etc. Evening
Programs may include special seasonal activities during the holidays. The program runs throughout the school year. And during the summer (July-August), RHA sponsors a Summer Camp open to all residents and the Rochester community.
